Additional Features for Ancillary tasks:

DIGI-PACKS AND MAGAZINE ADVERTS CONTAIN MORE THAN JUST IMAGES AND TEXT. LOGOS ARE ALSO INCLUDED ALONG WITH OTHER ESSENTIAL FEATURES.

Digi-packs:

Digi-packs are split into four sections: front cover, inner left sleve, inner right sleve and back cover. The front cover usually includes an main image, the band's logo and the album or single title. The inner left sleve tends to be the last page in a booklet that contains lyrics and images. These booklets are more common in album rather than single digi-packs. This means we will probably not include a booklet but just a page instead. This page is usually just an image with nothing on it. As a result we would pobably do the same. The inner right sleve is usually just an image because it is covered by the CD anyway. The back cover is more complex as it contains an image [or more], track listings, the institution logo, a barcode, copyright information and links to the band's website link. All these features are included in our digi-pack.

Here is an example of a CD digi-pack with such features from a band of a similar genre to Pistola Kicks.

PICS!

Magazine Advert:

Most magazine adverts promoting singles [and albums] contain a background image which just so happens to be the frontcover of the album. There is also text telling the audience that there is a new single or album and when it is released. Praising quotations are also included along with the institutions logo and the band's webaddress. These features have been included in our magazine advert.

Here is an example of Indie band promotions that shows what i mean:

Just like the digi-pack a magazine advert for a single must carry on the theme of the promotional package which includes the: music video and digi-pack. As a result our magazine advert is in washed out black and white colouring with a theme of a lack of satisfaction in life. This is also shown through praising quotations.
