Music Distribution:

Just like albums, singles are sold to the public through CDs and music downloads. These downloads are either illegal or from Itunes. When bought from Itunes album artwork is also included. As part of our ancillary tasks we will be creating an CD digi-pack for the song 'Friday Nights.' Split into sections there will be four pages to our digi-pack. This will include an album cover, an inner page, an inner page for the CD itself and a back page. Essentially, we are creating artwork for the band so they can make money out of their music instead of Apple getting money from downloads. This means our promotional pack must reflect the band and attract the audience. This could be done through links to the music video and its meaning and by using their logo so the promotional pack is easily recognisable. Pistola Kicks's fans like their music realistic and meaningful, we could use this by using stills from our meaningful music video.
